HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUPPORT BLEND 30ML

Mechanism of Action and Ingredient Functions

1. Cassia (Cinnamomum cassia)

• Mechanism: Contains cinnamaldehyde, which helps dilate blood vessels, promoting smoother blood flow. Cassia also acts as a mild blood thinner, reducing vascular resistance and easing circulation.
• Biological Function: The vasodilatory effect of cassia helps reduce systemic vascular resistance, a major contributing factor to high blood pressure.

2. Frankincense (Boswellia serrata)

• Mechanism: Rich in boswellic acids, frankincense has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce vascular inflammation, which can lead to the stiffening of blood vessels and increased blood pressure.
• Biological Function: Frankincense supports immune regulation, helps manage oxidative stress, and improves overall vascular health by reducing inflammation in blood vessel walls.

3. Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamomum verum)

• Mechanism: Like cassia, cinnamon bark has vasodilatory and anti-inflammatory properties that help relax blood vessels and enhance blood flow.
• Biological Function: Contains polyphenols that function as antioxidants, reducing oxidative stress that could otherwise damage blood vessels and contribute to hypertension.

4. Bergamot (Citrus bergamia)

• Mechanism: Contains flavonoids like naringin, which improve endothelial function, enhancing the elasticity of blood vessels. Bergamot also has mild anxiolytic effects, reducing stress-induced blood pressure spikes.
• Biological Function: Supports endothelial health, helping blood vessels respond adaptively to changes in pressure and maintaining cardiovascular stability.

5. Rose Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)

• Mechanism: Geranium essential oil has anxiolytic and mild vasodilatory effects, which can help reduce stress and lower blood pressure by calming the nervous system.
• Biological Function: Provides support for nervous system health, helping to regulate stress responses, which can influence blood pressure.

6. Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)

• Mechanism: Lavender’s calming effect on the nervous system may reduce stress and anxiety, key factors in hypertension. Promote relaxation of the vascular smooth muscle.
• Biological Function: Lavender enhances parasympathetic nervous system activity, which promotes calmness and reduces blood pressure naturally by lowering heart rate and vascular tension.

7. Lemon (Citrus limon)

• Mechanism: Lemon’s high vitamin C content supports blood vessel integrity, reducing oxidative damage. Limonene, a compound in lemon, helps with blood thinning and supports smooth blood flow.
• Biological Function: Acts as an antioxidant and supports cardiovascular health by enhancing blood vessel elasticity, lowering the risk of damage due to high pressure.

8. Thyme (Thymus vulgaris)

• Mechanism: Contains thymol, which has vasodilatory effects and helps improve blood flow. Thyme also has anti-inflammatory properties, contributing to better vascular health.
• Biological Function: Thyme aids in reducing vascular inflammation, which can lead to improved blood flow and reduced arterial pressure.

9. Ylang-ylang (Cananga odorata)

• Mechanism: Known for its anxiolytic and sedative properties, ylang-ylang reduces nervous tension, promoting a reduction in blood pressure. It helps relax vascular smooth muscle.
• Biological Function: By calming the central nervous system and reducing stress-induced vasoconstriction, ylang-ylang helps lower blood pressure through systemic relaxation.

10. Marjoram (Origanum majorana)

• Mechanism: Marjoram has vasodilatory effects, reducing blood vessel constriction. It also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties, which help lower blood pressure over time.
• Biological Function: Supports healthy circulation and helps relax blood vessel walls, promoting easier blood flow and reducing arterial pressure.

11. Olive Oil (Olea europaea)

• Mechanism: Rich in oleic acid and polyphenols, olive oil supports healthy blood lipid levels and has anti-inflammatory properties, which benefit cardiovascular health.
• Biological Function: Olive oil’s polyphenols improve endothelial function and elasticity of blood vessels, reducing the strain of blood flow on vessel walls.

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUPPORT BLEND 30ML

The High Blood Pressure Support Blend is a targeted formulation designed to aid in maintaining normal blood pressure. Each ingredient has been selected for its proven effects on vascular health, antioxidant properties, and calming actions, which are key in addressing hypertension. This blend supports blood vessel relaxation, reduces inflammation, and promotes balanced circulatory function. The combined ingredients address multiple physiological pathways contributing to high blood pressure, including vascular tone, oxidative stress, and blood flow regulation.

Condition: High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)

Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a chronic condition where blood pressure in the arteries is persistently elevated, leading to an increased workload on the heart and blood vessels. Chronic high blood pressure can damage the vascular system, increasing the risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and other complications. Various factors influence hypertension, e.g. genetics, lifestyle, stress, and diet. This blend supports the body’s natural mechanisms to maintain healthy blood pressure levels and improve cardiovascular resilience.

Therapeutic Action of the Blend

This High Blood Pressure Support Blend targets the underlying mechanisms contributing to elevated blood pressure. Together, the oils promote the relaxation of blood vessels, reduce oxidative stress on vascular tissues, and provide calming effects on the nervous system. Key actions of the blend include:

1. Vascular Relaxation: The vasodilatory properties of cassia, cinnamon bark, thyme, and marjoram work together to reduce resistance in blood vessels, promoting smoother blood flow and easing the workload on the heart.
2. Reduction of Oxidative Stress: Ingredients like frankincense, bergamot, lemon, and olive oil contribute antioxidant effects that help protect blood vessels from oxidative damage. This protection helps maintain the elasticity and integrity of the vascular system, crucial for managing blood pressure.
3. Calming of the Nervous System: Lavender, ylang-ylang, and rose geranium reduce stress and anxiety, which are common contributors to high blood pressure. By promoting a calm state, these oils help reduce stress-induced spikes in blood pressure.
4. Improvement in Endothelial Function: The blend enhances the function of endothelial cells, which line the blood vessels. This improves vascular response to pressure changes, supporting steady and controlled blood flow, reducing strain on the cardiovascular system.

This synergistic blend combines these effects to support overall blood pressure regulation, working through biological pathways that address the root causes of hypertension.
